Norwich Hillside Guest House

The needs for this new build were straightforward—design and construct a guest house with a traditional farmhouse feel.  The porch running the expanse of the home with plenty of room for seating and gatherings ensures the views of the surrounding landscape are always the focus.

Natural light flows through the space from front to back via oversized glass panels at the main entrance, and large double door sliders off the porch which capture the vast views of the foothills and beyond. An open, centralized staircase keeps the movement of light throughout with a contemporary railing and cut-out openings.

The client wanted to maximize lodging space by doubling up beds in two rooms to increase occupancy options.   A large central bathroom unites the sleeping spaces.
